Members volunteer their time to help run and maintain the Space.

While you aren’t required to volunteer your time, we really encourage you to find ways to help out – it is a rewarding thing to do and a great way to meet people!

Makespace is all about the social aspect of creating. Members are encouraged to participate in the life of the space, and we hold social events monthly to help people connect.

A workshop in central Cambridge

Join us in our workshop situated in Mill Lane, a couple of minutes away from King’s college.

Enjoy everything Makespace has to offer and the comfort of being close to the city center.

How to join

Step 1 – See the Space

The first requirement for becoming a member is to come on a tour of the Space.

You’ll get to learn how we operate and what to expect, as well as the training requirements for using specific equipment.
